Since I was a kid I've always been in contact with nature, and it's been my environment. Family traditions take me to do the first steps in the hiking world, discovering wonderful places, learning to enjoy and respect the mountains. Still alive in my memories are the ascents around Ordesa NP and the Catalan Pyrenees during my childhood.
At the age of eighteen I did my first steps in the rock climbing world. I dedicated some year climbing traditional classic routes, with the Montsec range as my school. With the experience gained I widened my horizons and I started discovering new walls: Ordesa, Puig Campana, Penyal d'Ifach, Los Mallos de Riglos, Montrebei, Terradets...
I got my Civil Engineer degree in 2000. I spent the holidays I got from this job to climb. At this point I started exploring the big possibilities of France and it's walls: Verdon, Vercors, Jonte...
In 2002 I did a whole year trip to Australia, but without climbing. After this year I realized rock climbing was my real passion. At that point I start spending as much time as I had climbing. My climbing trips became further and further, starting with Switzerland, where I discovered my favorite terrain in the amazing limestone walls of Wendenstöcke, Rätikon, Sanetsch... And from there new destinations where added: UEA, Jordan, Morocco, Dolomites, Sardinia, Corsica...
Finally I decided to become a Climbing Guide and offer all this experience in the climbing world to you.
My training started on 2011 becoming a Climbing Monitor of the High Mountain Catalan Academy (ECAM). Just after that, in 2012, I got my Climbing Sport Technician degree.
Not happy with that, I continued my training to get the highest climbing degree that we have in Spain. The spring of 2014 I finished the training becoming a Climbing Superior Sport Technician.

My partner and I spent two days climbing with Marc in Catalonia and loved the experience!Marc is a great guide: very knowledgable and patient. He drove us to another area to avoid the rain and stayed climbing till late, so we got the full day of multi-pitch climbing.He also recommended a lot of local routes and climbing areas with different features, so we will definitely come back!
Marc was an amazing guide! He lead me up my first multi-pitch climb in Montserrat. He made me feel very comfortable and safe the entire time. After completing the climb, he also helped me complete my first couple lead climbs.
We spent a day sport climbing with Marc in Montserrat and had a terrific time. In addition to guiding us to routes ideally matched to our skill level, he was also a super nice person to spend a day with. He clearly loves what he does and we can’t recommend him highly enough.
I highly recommend Marc as a climbing guide! My wife and I have booked a four day multi-pitch climbing and it was fantastic! Marc has chosen beautiful routes that fit our level, teached us how to build/clean stations, how to rappel and other climbing best practices. During climbing he was very positive and helpful, always double checked our gear, placed additional quickdraws in difficult route segments and he took a lot of great photos of our climbing. We had a bad weather forecast for all 4 days of our trip, but Marc managed to find warm and dry spots to climb in these conditions. Marc also told us a lot of interesting things about Catalonia and best places to climb there. Thank you Marc for an amazing experience!
I had a great day doing my first multi pitch with Marc in the Montserrat region. We went to a beautiful sunlit route featuring dihedral and cracks and to avoid the winter cold and during and after the climb he imparted a lot of multi pitch wisdom which i will take with me for future climbs. He was happy to discuss anchor systems and answers any doubts that I had right up until the sunset was more or less setting!
